Wow – the months are really flying! This last month has been particularly enjoyable with Eden. During this time, she’s become very interactive and fun, and has been developing in so many ways. She laughs and smiles at the things that we do. She has also started to mimic us. When I scream, she starts to scream. Her favorite pastime is picking up her toys, throwing them down, and grabbing others within her reach. She now has the ability to reach for small toys and grasp them at her fingertips. Her favorite toy is Sophie the Giraffe. Physically, she is changing quite a bit, too. Her first tooth is coming in. It’s a small, sharp thing located on the front bottom of her mouth. As demonstrated by the picture above, she can now sit up on her own (with a little help). At her six month check up, she weighed 18 lbs 11 oz (90th percentile), and measured 27 inches long (90th percentile). Her head was off the charts at 18 inches — big head!! She’s growing too fast. I don’t want her to get any bigger. She certainly can’t get any cuter.
