More Chicken

The cutest chicken that I've ever seen!

Eden was hamming it up for the camera.  Her new thing is putting her hands up in the air as if she is saying "I don't know," as seen in photo 5 below.  I think she learned this from school -- very cute.

At the Beach in San Diego

I'm finally getting around to posting some video from San Diego.  This was Eden's second time at the beach.  Eden was really into the sand and the shovel, and of course, she put some sand in her mouth.  She had a lot of fun playing with Ava and messing up her sand castle. 

Getting Good at Walking

Eden has been practicing her walking and is now able to follow me around the house.  She still falls over here and there, but gets right back up and starts walking again.  She is crawling very little (if at all).  Sadly, she doesn't seem like a baby anymore, but well on her way to becoming a toddler.

An Early Birthday Present

Eden got some new wheels from Aunt Kim (thanks, Kim!).  She hopped right on, but didn't quite know how to make it move.

Cracking Up

All I was doing was making faces at Eden and she was cracking up!

A New Word

Eden has several new words, but her favorite is baby.  She likes to look at pictures of herself and say "ba-bee."

Bounce the Ball

Courtesy of Nana, Eden now knows how to bounce the ball.  Every time she picks up a ball now, she bounces it and claps her hands.  She loves the ball that Ava and Grant gave her that lights up when she bounces it.

We had a first birthday party for Eden in Temecula so that she could celebrate with her Arizona family. We were able to have her party in the big mansion that we rented for Tammy's wedding.

 Eden had two birthday cakes and tried cake for the first time.  She didn't seem to like it.

She opened presents with the help of Grant, Ava, and Carter.

She played with her new Elmo doll.

She played "What's your future career?" and crawled toward the baseball bat - twice!  Eden has softball player in her future.  Her dad was so proud.

Walking for the first time

Eden took her first steps at school.  Lucky for us, her teacher took a video of this momentous occasion.  Look how happy and proud of herself she is in this video.

Pretty Eyes

Eden has very pretty eyes. They are a mix of green, blue and brown. I guess that's hazel?
