4 Months Old!

Eden turned 4 months old.  She’s getting so big — already 25″ tall and 16 lbs 7 oz!  Eden’s favorite activities include standing up, grabbing her toys, and putting anything she can get her hands on into her mouth.  Her big accomplishments include putting herself back to sleep when she wakes up in the middle of the night.  She has rolled over a few times, but hasn’t perfected it yet.  Mostly, Eden spends her time noticing in amazement all of the interesting things in the world around her.  Happy 4 months!

Goodbye to Phoenix

We were sad to leave Phoenix…especially because Mommy has to go back to work. Here we are at the airport with Nana and Papa before we boarded our plane.

Eden’s New Trick

Eden loves to stand.  Uncle Jake taught her how to go from a sitting position to standing — all in one move!  She loves to stand up now.  Here she is demonstrating her new trick:

Trip to Phoenix

We took our last trip to Phoenix before my maternity leave ends. As always, we had a great time hanging out with the Peterson crew and staying with Nana and Papa. Here we are at the airport getting ready to leave for our trip.

I finally got video of Eden laughing! It’s a very difficult thing to do because she will stop what she’s doing and pay attention to the camera if she sees it. This time, I was able to sneak the camera in without her noticing. As a result, the camera work is not too good, but you can still see (and hear) her laughing.

Fat Baby

There’s no denying it…Eden is a fat baby!  We were at the doctor (again!) yesterday for her acid reflux.  She now weighs 15 lbs and is 25 inches long.  The doctor told me that she is “overfed”.
